The
Electrical Systems Specialists, LLC story Electrical
Systems Specialists, LLC is a wholly owned division of Dubosky Auto
Electric, Inc. DAE was founded over 50 years ago and is located
in Frackville, Pennsylvania. Now operated by the third generation
of the Dubosky family, the business had its start as a primary rebuilder/supplier
of starters, alternators and generators to the coal industry. In
1995, John Dubosky IV recognized the potential in added business
for them by specializing in the import of electrical units for the
forklift industry. However, within a short period of time, the demand
for other, more exotic applications began to be requested. With
these requests in hand, John started to explore the possibility
of importing other types of units. As a result he, along with his
father, made the decision to expand the business and soon began
to offer units made for Nikko, Mitsuba, Sawafuji, Hitachi, Mitsubishi,
Delco, Nippondenso, Leece-Neville and Magneton applications to name
a few. What had started out as a way to fill another need in their
rebuilding business soon evolved into a company with suppliers in
China, India, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, the Czech Republic, Canada
and the United States. In
2001 it became apparent to the Dubosky family that they could no
longer operate the importing and sales of electrical units just
as an integral part of DAE. So, in early 2002 they formed Electrical
Systems Specialists, LLC to deal with their rapidly expanding enterprise.
The formation of ESS marked a watershed in the industry. For the
first time, many types of hard to get units could be sourced from
