Delco 37MT to 41MT Conversion

The Delco 37MT starter, used on hundreds of thousands of mid-range diesel trucks and school buses, has had a history of design flaws that led to shortened service life. In response Delco Remy, realizing that only a brand new design could stop the level of warranty claims on the 37MT, developed the 41MT as its replacement. As a result ESS has followed suit and developed its own 41MT starting motor for use in place of the 37MT applications in our database. This new product is robust, and fully warranted against defects for one year. As of 10/01/03 all data references to 37MT applications in our system will be carried over to the comparable 41MT part number.
